Welcome to the platform Protein Shift.
As a more sustainable food system is needed, the shift towards more plant-based and alternative proteins is an important goal. This is a transition that requires international collaboration to share knowledge, best practices and engage in joint research and development.
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency is organizing various innovation missions around the protein shift, focusing on countries that have specific complementary strengths and capabilities. These physical missions connect industry (startups as well as corporates) and researchers to international partners.
The focus is on the following countries:
- Singapore
- Canada & the USA (mission to Calgary-Minneapolis, 19-23 June)
- Germany (mission to NRW and Niedersachsen, 25 - 28 September)
- Chile (27 november-1 december)
In addition, this website provides an online platform to bring stakeholders from various countries together to collaborate and through joint efforts accelerate innovation and the overall protein shift. It provides the opportunity for networking, matchmaking, informative webinars and will provide an event agenda.
